James ParkerBiography
James V. Parker, now retired, has seen two decades of animal-rights protests as public-information officer of the Oregon National Primate Research Center. Parker holds a Ph.D. in religious studies from the University of Louvain in Belgium and taught theology at Mt. Angel Seminary in Oregon prior to his career as a science writer.
