If you're a member of Sigma Xi or a subscriber to American Scientist magazine, entering your member ID number on your profile page will give you access to restricted content. Here's how to find it:
- Sigma Xi members: Your member number is the 9- or 11-digit number above your name on the American Scientist mailing label. Please disregard the "B" that precedes the number on back issues (sample).
- Sigma Xi affiliates: See your mailing label. Your affiliate number begins with an "A" followed by a 9- or 10-digit number. Please disregard the "B" that precedes the number on back issues (sample).
- Individual magazine subscribers: See your mailing label. Your subscriber number begins with an "S" followed by a 9- or 10-digit number. Please disregard the "B" that precedes the number on back issues (sample).
